Right Place, Right Time

We have been learning about being in the right place at the right time when we are online. To help us navigate to the right place we learned about how to create and personalise bookmarks. Then we made sure that our Bookmarks Bar was well-organised so that we can quickly find the online places that we need.

To demonstrate our understanding of the use and importance of bookmarks, we created a poster using a blank Google Draw canvas. We had to create a poster, which included adding a link to text, adding a link to an image, and using word art. These were all new skills for us in Google Draw.

Here is a slidedeck of some of our finished posters.

Team 10

Kia ora, kia orana, Xin chào, Hallo, we are Room 10. Room 10 has 30 beautiful year 7/8 students at Levin Intermediate and three teachers. Our teachers’ names are Mrs. Lane, Whaea Aleisha, and Whaea Ash.

We are amazing at writing, reading, and we are pretty cool at maths. We learn by listening, thinking, and practising what we’ve been shown.

We like earning fake money from our teacher. We have to rent our tables and chairs and pay our teacher for teaching us. We also get paid. Then we use our fake money to buy things at an auction that we have in our class on Fridays.

The values at our school are the 3Rs: responsible, resilient and respectful.

Sports we like to play are basketball, soccer, rugby, tennis, netball, volleyball, badminton, cricket, and ball tag.

We would love to share with you our myths and legends when we have finished writing them. Keep checking back to see when we’ve finished them.
